SUNNYVALE - February 18, 2001 – McKnight Associates, Inc., a leading business intelligence services firm, announced today the acquisition of Information Unlimited (IUI), a boutique consulting firm specializing in e-business infrastructure.

According to William McKnight, president of McKnight Associates, Inc., the acquisition will strengthen McKnight’s capabilities in building world-class e-BI infrastructures from business strategy through to implementation. “The addition is extremely synergistic and advances our strategic plans of being the premier e-BI services firm” commented McKnight.

Herschel Chandler, president of IUI, will become a director at McKnight and work primarily with East Coast clients. The 5-year old IUI has been serving clients such as Brunos, BellSouth, and International Billing Services. IUI has met the challenge of applying e-BI to meet client’s strategic objectives, building high-end multi-terabyte BI systems for merchandising, frequent shopper, and other programs.
