CAMPBELL, CA Jun 05, 2001 GotMarketing, developer of web-based, self-serve email marketing tools, today announced that it has secured $3 million in a third round of funding. Venture capital firm Celtic House, which specializes in early stage funding for U.S., Canadian and U.K. companies, was the lead investor in this round.
The company is securing its position as the leading provider of self-serve, online email marketing tools. The funds will be used to launch the company's next generation suite of products, and enable more reseller relationships.

Upcoming products will build on the success of the Campaigner(TM) product line--which includes Web-based, email marketing tools that help users create, send and measure permission-based email campaigns, such as newsletters and promotions.
"A new report from Internet research firm eMarketer forecasts that $2.1 billion will be spent on email marketing by year end 2001. This is almost double the spending from last year and this exponential growth is expected to continue," said Lynda Partner, GotMarketing's CEO. "We expect our revenue increase to more than exceed this rate of growth."
GotMarketing will continue to develop relationships with well-established online business service providers and value-added resellers. These partners will have access to the software's new flexible customization ability, multiple billing options and simple levels of software integration.
