Luxury holiday specialist, Magic Globe Travel (http://www.magicglobe.com), is opening up the beauty of South Africa to honeymooners and families who can enjoy the thrill of upmarket safaris and bask in the splendour of the country’s choicest lodges and boutique hotels.
London-based Magic Globe specialises in high-class trips to Africa, the Indian Ocean and South America, and combines its pre-designed itineraries with a willingness to tailor holidays according to the individual wishes and interests of its clients.
The company has recently extended its range of holidays in South Africa, where ‘Big Five’ safaris at destinations such as the Kruger National Park afford encounters with lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos and buffalos, alongside a bewildering variety of birds, insects and plant life.
An extraordinary list of unforgettable attractions also includes Table Mountain, Cape Town, the Cape Winelands, land-based whale watching, excursions to Victoria Falls, plus the picturesque Garden Route, complete with its blue skies, white sand beaches, rolling oceans and mountain scenery.
Carlos Cuzme, founder of Magic Globe, says: “South Africa is a beautiful country, and one that has some of the most luxurious lodges and private game reserves in the whole of Africa. We are confident we have pinpointed the very best places to visit and stay at for the holiday of a lifetime.
“Our itineraries are of the highest standard, and have been carefully assembled to cater for different types of visitor. However, if clients wish to personalise their holidays still further, then our specialists will of course be happy to help them.
“There’s plenty for everyone in South Africa, and the one certainty is that the thrill of a safari is absolutely guaranteed to appeal across the board, from honeymooning couples through to mums, dads and kids enjoying a special family holiday.”
The best time to visit South Africa is between now and April, so plenty of newly-weds from the UK find it an ideal honeymooning destination.
Magic Globe’s 11-day ‘Southern Africa Romance’ itinerary has been specially designed for honeymooners. Guests spend the first three days on safari at the with its superb views of the Ngwenyeni dam.
The following four days are spent exploring the wonders of Cape Town while staying at the exquisite Cape Milner hotel, cradled beneath Table Mountain. As if that were not enough, the next stage of the itinerary comprises a three-night stay at the Royal Livingstone hotel on the banks of the Zambezi River at Victoria Falls.
Magic Globe also offers a 12-day ‘South Africa Family Holiday’, which begins with four nights at the Winchester Mansions Hotel, Cape Town, and offers opportunities to go up Table Mountain, relax on beautiful beaches, and swim with penguins at Boulders Beach.
The next four nights are spent at Knysna, on the Garden Route, where guests stay at a luxury property named Lake Pleasant Living. Attractions include Knysna Forest, a nature reserve, lagoon cruises, steam train rides, and top-class sports facilities including golf.
The trip concludes in style on the Eastern Cape, with three nights staying at Lalibela Mark’s Lodge on the 7,500-hectare Lalibela Game Reserve, which provides an outstanding family safari experience. The lodge welcomes young children, who can be looked after by child-minders while parents enjoy their morning and evening drives, and evening dinner.
