In order to process credit cards online in real time, a merchant must have access to a gateway for the payment-processing network, allowing the merchant to submit customer information securely to their Payment Processor. Authorize.Net is your electronic gateway to the payment-processing network. In real time, it can process your transaction, and then later settle the payment so that it is deposited to your bank.
