BUSINESS BACKGROUND Who is Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners (SVP)? We are an organization of Men and Women whom God has chosen to lead corporations so that we may leave a lasting legacy for our children. What is the objective of Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners? Our objective is threefold which is to provide (1) relationships, (2) resources and (3) revelation to men and women who have vision to excel in entrepreneurial endeavors.
What is the purpose of the Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners? Our purpose is to assist our members, partners and friends to bring their individual visions to make impact. Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners is called to assist individuals in their entrepreneurial endeavors so they may make impact on their communities, the nation and the world.
What should be the result of being a member of Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners? (1). A closer walk with God. (2). Development of new relationships. (3). Wisdom to abundantly succeed. (4). Access to financial resources. (5). An identity with an organization of integrity, excellence and character.
What is the process of helping our members manifest their vision (s)? We have a 3 step teaming process:
Step 1) Inspiration-During this initial phase, the member receives inspiration from God relative for their individual vision for business through our monthly networking meetings and members only meetings.
Step 2) Impartation- Once the member has clear vision; it is encouraged that the members enroll either in Our Leadership, Mentor Academy. The objective of the Academies is to move our members beyond vision to full manifestation.
Step 3) Implementation- Our members support services group, commonly called the Business Advisory Committee, provides the member with counsel, support and encouragement relative to business planning, making a strategy and financial management. It is expected during this stage that the member now begin to receive what he needs to bring his vision to pass.
We recognize that members come in at different levels. Our objective is to meet our members where they are and help advance them to new levels of success.
Who can be a member of Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners? Men and Women who have a vision in order to excel in business and profess to operate with biblical character and integrity.
What are the costs of membership and the benefits? The annual contribution of membership is Ksh. 6,000 per year.
The benefits are: - 1) Access to key Relationships through our membership. 2) Access to vital Resources through our academies. 3) Access to Revelation (business and spiritual insight) through monthly network meetings and members only meetings. 4) Access to financial resources.
What is the application process? A candidate can sign up for membership by completing a Membership Application Form either on-line, by mail or fax. Once the completed Membership Form is received, a member of the Accountability Committee will contact the candidate to conduct an interview. The interview normally lasts approximately one hour. The objective of the interview is to get to know the candidate and his or her vision. The interview notes are turned into the organization where a decision will be made relative to membership. Should the candidate be accepted, a special induction ceremony will be presented in honour of the candidate. The first act of membership would be to enroll in the three hours Making of Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners Orientation Training in which all members are encouraged to attend. The trainings are offered three times annually.
How often does the members meet? Our network meetings, fellowships and member only meetings are once a month.
As a member, where can I go to specifically get help for my business? Each month, the Business Advisory Committee meets with our members to provide advise, counsel and wisdom relative to their needs. The member completes a request for information form and forwards it with any proposals into the organization. The request is processed and sent to the Business Advisory Committee Chairman who then schedules a meeting with the member. After the meeting, the information can be sent to the organization for further review should the member request it.
How does Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners plan to grow? We will continue to grow through the relationships of our current membership and partnership programs. We prefer to grow through word of mouth of existing members and partners who recommends individuals to be a part of our organization. This allows us to know those who labour amongst us
Does Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners offer training for those who need help? Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners leadership Academy is a 10-week entrepreneurial course designed to move individuals beyond vision to full business manifestation. We also offer skill training, i.e. time management, attitude, customer service, sales e.t.c for leaders and their staff.
Does Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners provide financial assistance? Achaa-Kapenguria Social Venture Partners provides financial advises to its members, as resources are available. The criteria for assistance are based on information found in the Achaa Venture Partners Executive Business Summary Document.
