Description:Infinium Labs Corporation is positioned to be a leader in the “pervasive gaming/interactive entertainment” market by introducing, marketing and selling the first combination game console and broadband gaming network, Phantom Game Console™ and PhantomNet VPGN™. Our console and network allows consumers to search, preview, purchase and play a large selection of interactive entertainment (video games) online. Infinium’s mission is to provide users with the ultimate gaming experience by developing a leading edge video game console and an online game service that provides on-demand access to an extensive selection of games and interactive entertainment via a broadband Internet connection. Below are some sample screenshots of the player interface that we are developing.

Currently there is a limit on the variety and genres of electronic games available to consumers. This is primarily because the three largest game platform manufacturers – Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo – effectively dictate the choice and availability of games through their proprietary platforms. This results in significantly higher costs for publishers and game developers to buy licenses and software development kits (SDK’s) and distribute their content.
Severe inefficiencies exist in the game distribution system today. Since most games are distributed in boxed format at retail outlets, only the top-selling games in select genres are typically stocked, which amounts to approximately 200 titles at best and even fewer in many popular retail outlets. This leaves most game publishers and developers searching for alternative distribution systems as either a primary or supplemental source of revenue.
Infinium Labs has developed PhantomNet-VPGN™, the world’s first Virtual Private Gaming Network (VPGN™). PhantomNet-VPGN™ will empower developers and publishers to sell games directly to the public over our broadband VPGN™ with no effective limit on the variety or genres of titles that may be offered. Much as the music industry’s standard distribution model has come under pressure from online distribution of music, the ability to distribute high-end, rich and dynamic video game content online has the potential to radically alter the video game distribution model.
Unlike the music industry, Infinium has the unique ability to effectively eliminate piracy from its model through its proprietary game console and secure network. Infinium intends to provide a structured and secure method of distribution online that will include a large selection of games as well as flexible and reasonable subscription-based pricing (e.g. game rental/game purchase).
Infinium Labs’ business model includes attracting and securing the necessary partners to build a successful supply chain and distribution system. Each partner along this value-chain will be expected to see increased revenue opportunities by joining Infinium Labs and the PhantomNet - VPGN™.

The following is a summary of our Targeted Partner Segments:
1. Game Developers – Infinium provides game developers with a new and powerful distribution channel for games and other interactive entertainment. By selling this content online through our PhantomNet - VPGN™, the game developers can significantly increase their profit margins, expand their audience to new demographics and increase the shelf life and value of their titles.
2. Broadband Service Providers – Infinium provides a premium service to customers of broadband service providers. Service providers can realize new revenue opportunities by cross-selling interactive entertainment over their networks while maintaining control of the “set top box” as a platform for future applications. It allows for new revenue streams from consumers who will purchase a broadband connection with the Phantom Gaming Console™.
3. Original Equipment Manufacturers – Infinium is currently engaging OEMs to build a state-of-the-art game console based on open standards.
Infinium Labs sees significant opportunity in three distinct and growing markets: (1) game distribution market, (2) online gaming market and (3) game console market.
In the game distribution market, Infinium Labs’ model creates the opportunity for increased revenue for game developers and publishers. It supports a truly open distribution model that has the potential to revolutionize the electronic game/content distribution market.
In the online gaming market, Infinium Labs’ PhantomNet-VPGN™ service will provide a large online game selection and the ability to play with other online gamers real-time over the network. One of the results of this exploding online gaming community will be a rapid expansion of the gaming audience and the ability to grow revenues quickly. PhantomNet-VPGN™ will also enable users to search, preview, try, purchase and play new games in real-time.
In the game console market, Infinium’s console will merge the ability to render graphically intense games found in state-of-the-art game consoles with the online capabilities of personal computers. We feel this combination will increase Infinium’s market share quickly, as the main driving force in the selection of a game console by users tends to be the availability and selection of games.
The potential market for PhantomNet-VPGN™ and the Phantom Gaming Console™ is very large. According to Jupiter Research, game console revenues will grow from $8.5 billion in 2002 to $10.4 billion in 2007. According to David Cole, president of DFC Intelligence, “the video game industry is poised to reach record sales levels over the next few years.” Overall, DFC forecasts the worldwide market for video games, computer games, and interactive entertainment hardware and software to grow from $20.7 billion in 2002 to $30 billion by 2007. By 2006, it is expected that 23.4 million people worldwide will be online using a video game console. Infinium intends to aggressively target its products to broadband consumers in order to be a leader in this emerging market.
Infinium foresees three distinct market trends that will help contribute to its success:
1. Growing consumer preference towards using a stand-alone game console as a gaming platform which is easy to use, intuitive, application specific and offers a fully managed service rather than the personal computer which often intimidates the average consumer. 2. Growth of broadband communications networks and availability of low-priced bandwidth. Over 59% of homes in the U.S. currently have access to broadband cable or DSL but have not activated the service. International numbers, particularly in Asia, far surpass U.S. numbers. 3. Acceptance of online distribution model for electronic content, fueled in part by the steady growth, trust and consumer acceptance of Internet e-commerce systems in general.
