Technology isn't new to us. We grew up with it. We live with it. It's part of us. Before most PR people knew what e-mail was, we were using it. When to most PR firms electronic distribution meant faxing a release to wire distribution services, we were experimenting with sending out press releases via e-mail. All employees are equipped with tools that make them communicate more efficiently and effectively with clients and among themselves. Standard office productivity tools have to be de rigeur from our early days. We've used e-mail for more than 12 years. Sometimes when we need a tool, we build it - such as our editorial database of more than 9,500 influentials. This database helps us stay abreast of editorial activity, tailor individual editorial approaches, and distribute client news. It's been 13 years since Waggener Edstrom set up shop to do technology PR right. Since then, we've grown to more than 280 employees in three locations, and its been our honor to work for some of the most exciting technology and consumer companies around. We're also lucky to have many of the best people in the business. Clients and editors remind us all the time.
